The quality of online therapy is demonstrably not significantly different in its effectiveness from traditional on-site sessions – provided the technology is right and the therapeutic relationship can develop in a trusting atmosphere.

    After a brief initial contact in writing or by phone, we will arrange a non-binding initial consultation. This will allow us to get to know each other and clarify your concerns. Technical questions can also be discussed in a relaxed atmosphere.
  2. Video Therapy Sessions
    The sessions take place in a safe, secure setting via video, from a quiet location of your choosing. We work together to address your issues, resources, and goals. Methods from cognitive behavioral therapy, emotion-focused work, systemic therapy, or mindfulness practice can be integrated, tailored to your individual needs.
  3. Supporting Materials and Exercises
    Depending on your needs, you will receive supporting materials, reflection questions, or exercises that you can use between sessions to deepen and reinforce the therapeutic content.
  4. Duration and Frequency
    The frequency and duration of sessions depend on your life situation and therapeutic needs. Weekly, bi-weekly, or flexible appointments are possible.

Requirements for online therapy

  • stable internet access
  • a quiet, undisturbed place for conversations
  • a laptop, tablet or smartphone with camera and microphone
  • a certain openness to the digital format

Important: In acute crises (e.g. suicidal thoughts or acute psychotic conditions), online therapy is not sufficient – ​​in such cases, personal treatment on site or contact with a crisis service is necessary.
